We wanted a relaxed but fancy setting for our wedding - with a large-ish number of guests thrown in. The County Arms delivered in a big way.
First off it's great to be able to have your ceremony, food and reception in one place. That was a massive selling point in our view.
Lina and John were organised and very helpful in the run up. Then on the day itself, they and the team worked tirelessly to make it a great event. Rebecca is a star!!
Our guests had a brilliant time - the ceremony was great, the food was delicious and the party was memorable.
A few minor things didn't go quite to plan. Not all of these were related to the pub and you can't control everything!
But all in all it was a fantastic event and we're delighted we chose the County Arms as our wedding venue.
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the County Arms, using the Restaurant, Conservatory and a back section of the garden. Chloe (Events Manager) and the rest of the team were incredibly warm, helpful and effective on the day and on each occasion we interacted with them beforehand (e.g. planning, food/wine tasting), able to give advice but always listening to what we wanted. Everything went smoothly and our 50-odd guests all seemed to have a good time and enjoyed the food.
We had our wedding reception at the County Arms in June and we cannot compliment the team enough. The whole thing was seamless. John and Lina took all stress out of the organisation and were so well-organised and helpful. The room is lovely and with the outside terrace included as well, was the perfect setting for a summer wedding. We wanted a venue that was relaxed, friendly and helpful, and we got exactly what we wanted. A big Thankyou John and Lina xx
We booked the County Arms pub venue for our wedding day , they helped with our big day from getting married there, having our Buddhist blessing ,amazing food, and garden area.
The whole day was organised by the team Lina, John and Andrew. They helped with flowers, balloons table plans which really helped me and my new wife out tremendously!
We would recommend this as a great place to enjoy any event, and we will be using them again very soon,
Thanks again all at county arms.

My husband and I had our wedding at the County Arms in March. They were accommodating with deliveries & communicative, really gave us confidence that our big day would go without a hitch, and it absolutely did. Everyone commented on how great the venue was, and how attentive the staff were - they were with us every step of the way and visible throughout the day. And the food was brilliant - we went for the BBQ buffet 'family style', everyone loved it.
The venue were brilliant from the start, and continued to deliver excellent service throughout the day, as well as in the week building up to the event, and afterwards. The evening was brilliant for many reasons, but specific to the venue, was the organisation around all of the welcome drinks, the ""entrance"" of the cake, as well as the continued circulation of canapes and drinks. We had several specific comments from guests that the staff went out of their way to look after everyone and were extremely friendly.
I list everyone who worked so hard here in the hopes that they see this review - they were all fantastic. We will be going back regularly to the pub, and we have some wonderful memories and would recommend them 100% for any large event, or wedding you may have planned.
What a great place for a wedding reception!! Siobhan was wonderful in helping to plan things and the day was absolutely perfect for us - great food, great service and great fun. We’d recommend the County Arms if anyone is on the look out for a wedding reception venue!
After much deliberation of local London venues to host out wedding we decided to go with the County Arms and we are so pleased we did. We had 100 guests at the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening party.
The food was just fantastic and many of our guests commented on how impressed they were with the food. After the meal the Victoria lounge was transformed in to a great space for dancing with a DJ and still having the dining area for guests to relax and chat made the evening perfect. For us the most impressive thing about hosting our Wedding at the County Arms was how great Rowan and her team were. They were extremely helpful, efficient and friendly to us and all our guests. The planning and communication before the day was very quick and efficient, and the flexibility shown to meet our requirements was greatly appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble, even last minute printing of speeches and late changes to music etc.
Overall I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a great pub venue in London, with excellent food & drinks, and a friendly and efficient team to help plan your day and ensure you and your guests have a fun and memorable occasion.
I can’t recommend The County Arms enough for a London wedding venue. Last Saturday really was the best day of our lives whilst we celebrated with 90 friends and family during our ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening party. The recently refurbished venue is really beautiful and so tastefully renovated; it was brilliant to have 3 very large separate spaces for the entire day. The rooms looked fabulous and whilst we brought flowers in, further decoration is not really needed since the rooms are all so well adorned in terms of colour and features. The atmosphere created in the Victoria room during the ceremony and the Belvedere during our meal was magical! The staff worked super hard to transform the Victoria room into both a distinctive ceremony room and a brilliant dance floor space for the evening DJ. The food we chose for the day was excellent, as all of our guests agreed.
We had a family wedding here on Saturday. Nothing was too much trouble for Chloe and the staff. Meal was excellent. The waiters served us throughout the evening and joined in the dance groove as they served. Extra tea for my elderly mum. Rescue support for my drooping wedding cake! So impressed. Thank you so much.
